Hello!
I'm so glad you stopped in. Just
as the children I've been privileged to entertain over the years are growing up,
so is this site. For now, I've included all the essentials - booking and contact
info, how to purchase a cd, and a bit of history - but there's so much more to
come. Thanks much...and enjoy!
It's
All About the Kids
To
say that I enjoy my work would be, well, not enough. I've been blessed with the
gift of connecting with young children and have used that gift to
encourage, enlighten and help them develop into confident and capable young
people. (Hmm...some are not so young anymore. I've been doing this for a long
time!) |
The
Experience Stuff
It
was way back on my 14th birthday, sometime during the 20th century, that my
folks gave me my first guitar. "Best investment we ever made," says my
mom. I'd have to agree with her. Since teaching myself to play a few simple
chords I've performed at birthday parties, child cares, festivals, fairs,
elementary schools, libraries, television, radio... wherever young children and families are
gathered. I've also conducted workshops and performed for many state, county,
and local child care associations.

Tunes to Go
The "Let Me Be a Kid" cd is almost,
but not quite, like experiencing a live Mr. Skip show. I recorded it with the
"I'm a Kid Band", happy, frolicking, professional musicians whom I'm
lucky enough to call my friends. Six of the tunes were composed by yours truly,
with the rest coming from a variety of sources. All are age-appropriate for the
six and under crowd. The best news is that it's now available from THE source
for Indie recording artists, CDbaby. How cool is that?!? You can listen to a
